Intellectual Property & Copyright Ownership

Statement of Ownership

All creative, graphic, technical, and proprietary content presented across the LAYRO website, digital design toolkits, and promotional materials is the exclusive intellectual property of LAYRO. This includes, without limitation, our proprietary Design Module System, architectural floor plans, technical elevation drawings, photorealistic 3D visualisations, mood boards, brand-neutral specification schedules, original written content, and all associated design assets.

All materials are protected under applicable Hong Kong copyright laws and international intellectual property treaties, including the Berne Convention. No part of these materials may be reproduced, distributed, modified, published, transmitted, or used in any form without the prior written consent of LAYRO.

Permitted Use (Single-Project License)

Upon purchasing a LAYRO Design Toolkit, the buyer is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for single-use personal or single-project execution. You are explicitly permitted to:

  • Download, print, and view the toolkit on your personal devices.

  • Share the technical layouts and specification schedules with your hired licensed contractor, tradespeople, or local building authorities solely for the construction of your specific project.

Prohibited Commercial Exploitation

The purchase of this toolkit does not transfer any intellectual property ownership or commercial rights to the buyer. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Reselling, redistributing, copying, or licensing any portion of the toolkit or website content to third parties.

  • Uploading the digital assets, text, or layouts to public forums, shared cloud drives, or digital product marketplaces (such as Etsy, Gumroad, or personal web domains).

  • Using our proprietary modular system or visual renderings to offer commercial interior design or consulting services under another brand name.

Legal Enforcement

LAYRO actively monitors international e-commerce platforms and digital marketplaces for unauthorized distribution and copyright infringement. Any detected violation of these terms will result in immediate legal action, including the filing of formal DMCA takedown notices, the immediate suspension of offending store accounts, and civil claims for financial damages under applicable international copyright laws.
